Community Programming Coordinator
Bezanson Agricultural Society is accepting resumes for a Community Program Coordinator.
Overview: The coordinator will work with a team and will be responsible for the planning, facilitating and delivery of summer programs and activities at the Bezanson Community Event Centre.
Duties include:
- Developing, coordinating, and facilitating summer activities and programs.
- Coordinate instructors, materials and scheduling
- Administrative duties pertaining to programs and events including reporting, design of events, safety documents, communication and tracking requirements
- Cleaning of facilities upon conclusion of each program.
- Research and development of future programs
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be between 15 – 30 years of age at the start of employment.
- Must be a Canadian citizen and be legally entitled to work in Alberta as per provincial regulations.
- Able to clear a criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
- Has the ability to lead, exercise good judgment, and work safely while engaging the participants in the summer activities.
- Be a Team player.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be available and present for the duration of the 8 weeks of employment.
Details:
- Monday – Thursday (8:30 am – 4:30 pm)
- This position is an 8-week position beginning June 22 and ending August 14.
- Must be able to commit fully to the 8 weeks as this is a government funded program.
